    My family is staying at Fort Wilderness and we have dining reservations at Shula's. What is the best way to get to the restaurant and back to the cabins? We will be at the AnimalKingdom during the day. Thank you in advance.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we are here to help with your Walt Disney World vacation questions and happy to do so. After an adventurous day, at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Shula's Steak House is sure to fill the rumbly in your tumbly.

    I recommend making your way to the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel, after your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Simply make your way to the Bus Depot, located out front of the theme park and locate the bus stop for the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin hotel. If you arrive, early and have some time take a leisurely stroll around Disney's Boardwalk or explore the hotel and enjoy a beverage before dining. 

    For your return trip, to Disney Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, it is important to note there is only one direct route back to your Walt Disney World Resort home, and that is utilizing and paying for a quick taxi ride. Taxis are conveniently located at the front of all resorts. Otherwise, take note when Disney's Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom Park closes; transportation typically runs an hour to an hour and a half after the park closes. For Disney's Hollywood Studios follow the signs, they will lead you to a walk path to the theme park and right to the Bus Depot. Locate your bus stop to your resort. Or from Shula's, board a bus to Magic Kingdom Park, from Magic Kingdom Park locate the boat ramp for Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground and cruise the rest of the way home. Or a final option, is board a bus, from Shula's, to Downtown Disney and transfer to your resort bus.
