My family of 6 is staying in a Fort Wilderness cabin next week, and we're wondering where we can buy food to take advantage of using the kitchen there. We will not have a car, and we'd like cereal and milk for breakfast and maybe meats to grill. Thanks!

    Patty,

The on-site options are limited.  The trading post stores at Fort Wilderness do carry most of the basic grocery supplies, but tend to be premium priced.

If you are buying more than just a few items, I think your best option for initially stocking the kitchen is to order from one of the grocery stores that will deliver food to the resort.  A few that I know of that are reliable and reasonably priced include www.gardengrocer.com, and www.wegoshop.com.

Also, if you are taking a car service from the airport to WDW, they will usually be willing to make a grocery stop on the way for free (ask in advance).

    Hope that helps.
