    We (family of 4) are staying at Disney (1st time!! - yeah!) in October 2013 for 4 nights, then doing a 3 night Disney cruise. Curious about transportation options between Disney & Port, then Port, Disney & Airport. What's our best option?

    October is a wonderful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort and having a Disney Cruise planned for the end of your vacation will be the cherry on top!  I know your family is excited to experience the most magical place on earth, and create many special memories on both land and sea!
    When it is time to transition to the cruise portion of your vacation, there are several options to consider for your crew.  First, Disney Cruise Line does offer ground transportation via motor coach from all the resorts to the cruise terminal and back to the Orlando Airport.  The ride over to Port Canaveral is about an hour or so depending on traffic.  Your motor coach will be equipped with a bathroom and entertainment to make the trip smooth and seamless.  Luggage pick-up from your resort is included, and all your bags will be delivered directly to your stateroom.  Currently, prices for a round-trip voucher are $70 per person.  You can call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to add transportation to your cruise reservation.
    Your second option is to look into a car or van service such as Happy Limo.  Resort pick-up is offered as well as pick-up from the cruise terminal once you disembark.  You can budget around $250 for round-trip service.  The last option is taking a taxi to the port which will run you around $200-250 as well.
