My family of 6 is staying at a deluxe room at the Beach Club in January… I was wondering if they have rollaway beds available as my 3 year old and 10 year old can’t successfully share a bed.

Hiya, Katherine! Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for bringing your great question our way.

You have a truly magical trip planned for January and I couldn't be more excited for you! It sounds like you'll be enjoying the best of both worlds by planning a land and sea vacation. From spending a few days at Walt Disney World Resort to sailing the high seas on the Disney Wish, I can't think of a better way to ring in the new year!

Katherine, Disney's Beach Club Resort is a beautiful resort with a New England feel, as well as some great recreation amenities - like Stormalong Bay! A Deluxe room will be able to accommodate up to six adults, which sounds like it could be a good fit for your family. However, I completely understand if some of your little Mouseketeers would prefer to have their own bed to sleep in. Unfortunately, after speaking with a Cast Member, it appears as though the policy on rollaway beds has been updated for Walt Disney World Resort. I was told that the addition of rollaway beds is not an option due to current Florida safety and fire codes. I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, and if you ultimately decide that this might not be the right resort for your family, I have an alternate idea.

Have you considered booking The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort? While Disney's Beach Club Resort is light and airy, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is warm and cozy. With features such as Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Trail's End Restaurant, this is one of my favorite places for my family to stay while at Walt Disney World Resort! The best part about these cabins is that it also accommodates up to six adults. However, the layout of these cabins includes one Queen bed, one double-size sleeper sofa, and one bunk bed. I think this bunk bed might be just the right setup for your kids!

No matter what you end up deciding, I know your family is going to have the most magical time because you'll be together. If you have any other questions, I hope you visit us again!
