My family will be staying at Coronado Springs Resort with our daughter who will be 6 months old. What room amenities for infants? For example: crib, infant bathtub, highchair, mini-fridge, kitchenette to clean bottles?

    Hi Christina!

Welcome to planDisney!  I have such fond memories of taking my middle son on his very first visit to Walt Disney World Resort when he was just five months old.  There was so much excitement and anticipation. . .and lots of planning questions!  Hakuna Matata!  I'm happy to share more about what you can expect to find during your upcoming resort stay.

Christina, you're going to love Disney's Coronado Springs Resort!  Make sure you plan some time to relax at the Dig Site where you'll find an incredible pool, hot tub, and pool bar.  It's the perfect place to unwind after some busy days in the parks!  When planning for your resort stay with your little Mouseketeer, you'll be happy to know that you will find a beverage cooler in your room and can request a portable crib.  The beverage cooler will chill to about 41 degrees Fahrenheit and is approximately 18 inches wide by 25 inches high by 22 inches deep.  When you're ready to make your request for your crib, you can do so by calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations or noting the request during Online Check-In.

While your hotel room can include several amenities for your little one, there are a few items that you may need to bring from home.  I recommend bringing a bottle warmer for your stay and you can use the bathroom sink to clean bottles as needed.  I typically like to bring a small travel-sized dish soap when traveling with infants and toddlers using bottles or sippy cups so I can easily clean them in the hotel room.  While the rooms do not include an infant bathtub, you may be interested in bringing an inflatable infant-sized tub or portable sling that can be placed inside the larger bathtub as needed.  Unfortunately, you also won't find high chairs inside your hotel room, but you can find them at Table-Service and Quick-Service restaurants throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

Other great spaces you'll want to check out are the Baby Care Centers located in each of the four theme parks.  These little gems are the perfect place for feeding, changing, or just cooling off and taking a break during your day.  Inside each of the Baby Care Centers, you'll find private nursing areas, bottle warmers, spacious changing tables, high chairs, and even a few baby items for sale.  You'll also be happy to know that even the smallest Guests can enjoy dozens of "Any Height" attractions around the parks!  Some of my favorite attractions with little ones are "it's a small world," The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid.

Christina, I hope this information helps as you prepare to make many magical memories during your upcoming vacation!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    Happy Planning!
