My family of 11 will be staying at the Beach Club in April - 5 grandsons first visit. We are excited about the trip. However I got involved with reading the reviews on line and almost had a panic attack - Why is there such a discrepancy

Hi, Noreen! Please don't have a panic attack.  The way I look at things is this - those who decide to take the time to write reviews for online sites have probably A) had the best vacation of their lives or B) the worst vacation of their lives.  This causes discrepancies in the reviews you see.  Often their vacations were affected by things totally out of anyone's control and/or unrealistic expectations.  What I will tell you to help you get back to being excited about your vacation is this: In my opinion, Walt Disney World Resort is the best in the world at making sure its Guests receive the amenities and service that are expected.  Cast Members go above and beyond the call of duty to assure that every Guest is having a wonderful experience.  If something goes wrong, which sometimes it does, talk to a Cast Member. He/she will help you however possible.  The Beach Club Resort is amazing.  You will love it. It has what some believe to be the best pool complex of all the resorts. Once you arrive, take your family to Beaches and Cream and try to tackle the Kitchen Sink dessert.  Please don't stress.  Have a Magical vacation!
