My family will be staying at bay lake towers this November. We have two lake view rooms and one standard view room. How do we request for these rooms to be close to each other? Also are any of the lake view rooms adjoining rooms?

    ChEARs Cheryl!

I’m glad to see you back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel; it’s been a few yEARs! You are going to love staying at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The location is tops, and the Resort is gorgeous! Second only to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort, your Resort has my favorite food on property! I love The Wave…of American Flavors for brunch, and the Contempo Café always has excellent and healthy options for fast food.

You didn’t indicate what type of Villa you are staying in, but let me give you some examples of how they are located in the Resort. If you’ve booked two Lake View studios, you will have the chance to be next door to each other in the north and south towers. The same goes for 1-Bedroom Villas. If you’ve booked two dedicated 2-Bedroom Villas, you could stay next door to each other in the center tower. And if you’ve booked two Grand Villas, well, you are the luckiest! and all of them are next to each other on a dedicated floor. In general, the Standard View rooms are on the lower levels (7 and below), but there are Standard View rooms close to Lake View rooms, so being on the same floor is a possibility!

Your best option is to call Hotel Reservations and explain your situation. The Cast Member will make a note on your reservation that indicates you would like to be nEAR the rest of your party. Remember, a request is just that, a request, so it isn’t guaranteed that you will be close, but they will try their best to make it happen!

Cheryl, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. You know where to find us!
