A 12-day visit to
Walt Disney World Resort sounds wonderful! And at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa? A dream! Let me know if you need some company! The Grand Floridian has luxurious decor, stunning views, and it's only one monorail stop away from
Magic Kingdom Park! It's also home to
1900 Park Fare, which is one of my favorite character meals, and
Enchanted Rose, a lounge where you can order cocktails and mocktails that are almost too pretty to drink! In addition to the spa and health club, Grand Floridian has a
full-service salon. You can get your hair, makeup, or nails done before meeting Mickey!
I am the mom of a big family, and I always do laundry on vacation. We go through outfits pretty quickly in the Florida heat, and I don't like to come home to endless chores. While it isn't necessarily magical, I think Disney makes doing laundry pretty painless. At the Grand Floridian,
24-hour self-service laundry rooms are located in the main building on the second floor and in most guest buildings on the ground floor. Laundry facilities at Walt Disney World are cashless. There will be a QR code displayed that you scan and enter your information. I absolutely love this system. Not only do I not have to worry about change, but I also get a notification when my laundry is done! You can download the app, but it isn't required. I haven't tried it yet, but I've read that there's a small discount if you use the app. Detergent and fabric softener are available for purchase, as well. Another option is to let someone else handle it for you! Select housekeeping on your resort phone, and a Cast Member will help you make arrangements.
