    Family and I will be staying at Animal Kingdom 8/2 (arrive midday)-8/5 (leave in the AM). 1st time trip for us. I was impressed with your itineraries for others and was hoping that you could pls give us some park and dining suggestions as well. Thank you

    Khanh,

    Thanks for asking me to help!

    So my guess is that you have two and a half days to experience the parks, based on arrival and departure dates/times. I am also going to assume that you have the park hopper option. Write me back if I got it wrong. Here is where I would go;

    • August 2 - midday arrival, Epcot
    • August 3 - Magic Kingdom (am) / Hollywood Studios (pm)
    • August 4 - Animal Kingdom (am) / Magic Kingdom (pm)
    • August 5 - Departure Day
    This gives you one day in the Magic Kingdom, and a half day each at the other three parks. Depending on who is in your party (younger kids, vs. all adults) you may want to consider skipping one of the three parks where you have a half day to get more time in the Magic Kingdom.

    As for dining, here are recommendations, by park/resorts, for quick service and table service.

    Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbor House / The Plaza Restaurant
    Epcot: Tangierine Cafe / Chefs de France
    Hollywood Studios: The stands on Sunset Boulevard / 50s Prime Time Cafe
    Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ / Tusker House
    Resorts: The Mara / Boma

    Write me back and we can clarify any of these suggestions, or add others!

    Have a magical vacation!
