Our Family of 4 are starting to plan our trip to Disney for Christmas 2012! My husband(28) myself(27 ) and 2 boys ( 2 & 3.5) are wondering what we can do to make the most out of our xmas vacation.

    Jessica,

    Great question!

What you really want to do is start with some good planning. I don't care to over plan, but if you are there during the holidays it will be very busy. Planning will help you get the most out of your stay.

Consider something to do for Christmas day either at a one of the parks other than the Magic Kingdom, or possibly even at your resort. The Magic Kingdom often reaches capacity and closes to additional guests. That means a busy experience that may be more than your boys can handle.

Make 100% sure that you call 180 days out for any dining reservations that you are going to want. Table service restaurants get completely booked up, and while you certainly don't want sit-down dining for every meal, you also don't want to have every meal from a counter service restaurant either I bet.

That is a good start. Why don't you write me back directly with a few questions based on other things you think you may want to do, including dining ideas, and we can work further on plans, OK?

    Have a magical vacation!
