Hi! My family and I will be spending my boy/girl twins 5th birthday at WDW. Can you give me different ideas about what to do to make their birthday special. My daughter loves princesses and my son loves superheros and pirates. Thanks!!!

    Hi Bridget,

I also have twins. We celebrated their 6th birthday at Walt Disney World, so I completely understand your situation.

The challenge with twins is to decide whether to celebrate them together, separately, or both. During their WDW birthday celebration, my twins were both into the characters in general and loved having ready access to desserts. Our celebration solution was to book three character meals in one day. We had breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table, lunch at Crystal Palace, and dinner at Chef Mickey's. It was a totally bizarre amount of food to encounter during one day, but they loved the excess of it and thought they were superstars all day.

There are many other vacation extras you could add to a joint celebration. For example, tickets to the Cirque du Soliel show at Downtown Disney, bowling at Splitsville, a visit to a waterpark, or a fireworks cruise are all nice choices.

If you wanted to celebrate separately, you could have. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeover for your princess girl and a Pirates League makeover for your pirate boy. Or take them each to their own separate character meal.

I'm happy to provide more information about any of these options or to offer more suggestions, just let us know what you need.
