Our family will spend 6 days in Disney and I would like my kids to experience the nighttime entertainment but I don’t think they will be able to stay awake for them all. Which one would you recommend for 4 and 6 year old girls?

    Hi Suzann,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR you are planning an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

You will love having six days to fully explore all that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer during your upcoming trip! As a mom of four children myself, I can certainly understand your concern in trying to find a perfect balance so that your daughters experience one of the nighttime entertainment offerings while not keeping them out too late. When my children were younger, we always went back to our Disney Resort hotel for an afternoon nap so that we could return in the early evening to enjoy the nighttime entertainment. Our strategy ensured our little ones could experience the amazing nighttime shows without being too tired to enjoy them.

Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park is my top pick for your family based on the ages of your daughters. It's a beautiful fireworks display accompanied by an amazing musical score. Your little princesses will love seeing projections of beloved Disney Characters on Cinderella Castle as spectacular fireworks light up the sky overhead. It's a "must do" for my family when visiting Walt Disney World Resort.

If you do decide to add a second evening entertainment option, I recommend Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Fantasmic! is a nighttime spectacular which features beloved Disney Characters, over 50 live performers, enormous sets, amazing special effects, a beautiful musical score and stars Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice in a tale of good versus evil.

I hope this information is helpful in making the best decision for your family. Let us know if you have any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!
