    Hi there, We are a family of 3 from South Africa and will be visiting the Disney World for the first time (Yeah!!!). Just want to know if the Water Parks are open during this time and is it advisable to have fun in the water, considering the time of year.

    You must be so excited for your first trip to the Most *MAGICAL* Place on Earth!

    During your December visit Typhoon Lagoon will be open for fun and adventure. Whether honing your surfing skills with surfing lessons or lazily floating along Castaway Creek you will definitely have a cowabunga time. 

    December weather in Florida can be a little finicky. One day can be 85 degrees while the next is 65 degrees. Make sure to call the water park on the day you plan to visit to confirm their hours of operation.
