My family of six are planning our annual 12 day trip to WDW. My oldest son is going to surprise the rest of the family by coming 4 days. Do you know of any super great ways to do this? We will be in EPCOT the day he arrives.

Hi, Tawnie!  I am so excited that you are surprising the rest of your family with one of the BEST surprises!  I know my girls always used to get a huge kick out of seeing their big sister arrive at the parks when we would visit her while she was at college.

My first thought is a scavenger hunt around the World Showcase.  You could make up clues of things they have to find at Epcot, and maybe make it so they find things that begin with letters from his name.  Then have him sitting at a restaurant or on a bench somewhere, buried behind a park map so they don't know it's him right away, and make visiting "the man behind the map" the final clue.

You could have him meet you at the exit to an attraction that the whole family has been on, but kind of hidden so he pops out.  Maelstrom in Norway is a great place to do this, because he can hide behind the giant troll.  Or, even better, have him in the drivers' seat at one of the cars after Test Track.

The family could sit down to eat somewhere, and he could come wandering by as you are all engrossed in your meal and casually ask if anyone ordered one awesome big brother.  He may want to have that park map handy so they don't spot him from the door.

Another idea that may or may not work because of how fast things happen - have him in line several people behind you as you board Spaceship Earth.  When you get off the attraction, they put guest photos up on the giant map.  Point to the guy that looked familiar, and then have him pop in behind you.

    Have a great time!
