Hi, my family of 5 and my sister’s family of 5 will both be sailing on a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. My question is if our state rooms are connected, will we automatically be table mates for the entire cruise or do we have to request to be table mates?

Welcome aboard! Your crew must be over the moon about your upcoming sailing with Disney Cruise Line in January, especially since you're cruising with cousins! I can imagine your group of 10 is going to have a fabulous Bahamian vacation making lots of MAGICal memories.

Geoffrey, if you want to ensure you are seated with your sister's family, I recommend giving Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 to have your request noted on your reservation. At this time, a Cruise Reservation Agent can also link your reservation numbers, so that you can plan onboard activities and port adventures together. You will need to provide both reservation numbers and a birthdate for each stateroom to have the two rooms linked. (This can also be done online when you are signed in to your reservation by clicking "Add Reservation" at the top of the page under your cruise details.)

I'm glad you asked this question, Geoffrey because dinner is the perfect time for your family to come together to share about the day's events both ashore and aboard the Disney Magic.
