Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho Jeni! It’s off to dinner we go!
Walt Disney World is committed to providing
a safe and delicious dining experience for all of its Guests. More often than not,
the fantastic Disney Chefs can substitute different ingredients to accommodate most of the common food allergies, including Milk, Lactose, or Egg. With a heads up, they are also able to accommodate some of the more unique allergies like garlic and onion, or at least provide a suitably delicious alternative!
The menus for each of the
Quick Service restaurants are available online. Click on the Menu link (upper right of the page) of the location, scroll down to the bottom, and there you will find the Allergy-Friendly Menus. I clicked on
ABC Commissary’s menu and found it broken down into allergy categories, including egg, gluten/wheat, and fish/shellfish. There is a similar set-up for each restaurant.
On the My Disney Experience app, click on the restaurant, then the “
Order-Food” tab and then on that page you will see an Allergy-Friendly button. When I clicked on
Pinocchio Village Haus’ Allergy-Friendly menu, I found additional tabs that broke down allergies into categories, similar to online, ranging from Soy Allergy-Friendly to Peanut/Tree Nut Allergy-Friendly.
Jeni, I hope this helps you plan your trip. Above all, make sure to
communicate your allergies to a Cast Member on arrival to your dining location. If you want to talk with a Chef too, they are often available at Table Service locations to discuss your options. We never say goodbye around here, so I’ll see ya real soon!
