Ahoy Michelle!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How THRILLING that you will be joining a spooky sailing on the high seas this fall! Our first sailing was a
Halloween on the High Seas cruise on the Disney Magic and all the extra tricks and treats made for a very memorable vacation.
Disney Cruise Line offers some great
packing lists that I think are a great place to start when planning out your suitcase space. Beyond these lists, I typically like to pack an extra swimsuit for everyone to allow one to dry if swimming multiple times during the day. I also pack clothes pins to hang wet suits up in the shower on the clothes line. I find packing a collapsible hamper for dirty clothing is a great way to store these items and take them down to the
self service laundry facilities. Using these facilities helps us pack lighter. I know laundry on a vacation SOUNDS scary, but Disney Cruise Line makes it very easy.
If I haven't scared you away yet, let's talk about the ghoulish details of Mickey's Mouse-querade Party and your Halloween on the High Seas sailing. Many guests of all ages choose to dress up for these deck parties. I love seeing all the creative costumes including all the themed family costumes. On our first sailing, we saw a large multigenerational family dressed as ALL the characters from The Incredibles - including Syndrome! However you decide to dress up your family, enjoy a night of games, mask-making, pumpkin carving and of course, SPOOKTACULAR treats!
Enjoy making haunting memories with your gruesome gang! Season's screamings! Angie
