Hi! My family and I are going on our second Disney cruise next Sept 2017...we're leaving from NYC on the Magic. Is there a DCL transfer available to pick us up from our hotel and get us to the ship the morning it departs?

Welcome aboard, Anna! What a magical vacation your family will enjoy next fall when you sail from the Big Apple onboard the Disney Magic!

My family and I always take advantage of the Ground Transfers available through Disney Cruise Line no matter from which port our ship is departing. I'm happy to let you know that Disney does offer ground transfers for guests sailing from New York, both from the John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia International Airport and also from the hotel that Disney Cruise Line has partnered with in the area. The New York Marriott Marquis is a fabulous hotel in Times Square that would offer your family a real taste of the Big Apple for a night or two before or after your sailing. Guests staying there can then take advantage of the Disney Cruise Line ground transfers from there, making their transition from land to sea and back again extremely seamless! I love that our luggage can be sent ahead to the ship that morning, directly from the hotel, so my family and I can simply grab our day bags and enjoy a more relaxing morning and trip to the ship, knowing our luggage will be waiting in our stateroom onboard!

Check out the Ground Transfers for U.S. Travelers Sailing from New York for more details on these transfers and hotel. While there is an additional cost each way for the transfers, I promise you that it is worth every penny to let Disney Cruise Line take care of the details! Give the agents at Disney a call at (800) 951-3532 to get more information and to arrange these ground transfers and hotel reservations.

Have fun planning your trip, and please stop back and "sea" us if you have other questions about your Disney Cruise Line vacation before you set sail in the fall, Anna! We're happy to help!
