Ahoy, Victor!
How exciting to be setting sail with Captain Mickey and his crew right after Thanksgiving! You will be sailing on the beautiful Disney Dream during the Very Merrytime Cruise season, so your family will experience all of the gorgeous holiday decorations. Be sure to pose for some family photos near the giant Christmas tree in the atrium, maybe this will make your Christmas card for this year!
A three night cruise passes quickly, so I can understand wanting to plan out your time onboard. Some of my "Do Not Miss" items on the Disney Dream include:
1. Ride the
Aquaduck at least once. You WILL get wet, but it is worth it!
2. Take the time to try the
"Midship Detective Agency". It is one of our family's favorite activities, and also a great way to learn the ship's layout.
3. As soon as you get onboard, head to the Guest Services desk to inquire about tickets for special character meet and greets or activities.
4. Be sure to head to the Walt Disney Theatre each night for the Broadway-caliber stage shows. They are amazing!
5. Stop for as many photo opportunities as you can. You never know when a photographer will catch the next mantle-worthy photo!
I would also suggest that you visit the Future Cruise Sales desk to book your next Disney Cruise Line vacation to enjoy a 10% savings on most future cruises as well as an onboard credit. This future cruise can be moved to a different date.
I hope your family has a wonderful first Disney Cruise! Please visit us again with any more questions before you set sail.
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
