Welcome aboard, Melissa! It's nice to see a fellow Ohioan getting ready to set sail with Disney Cruise Line!
The Disney Fantasy's
Halloween on the High Seas cruise will include so many ghoulishly fun activities for your whole family. One of those is Mickey's Mouse-querade Party, when guests get dressed up for Trick-or-Treating fun. On your seven-night sailing, this will most likely be on one of your sea days. That night the dining attire will probably be Halloween costumes or cruise casual, if it is similar to last year's Halloween sailings. All of this spooky fun is included in the cost of your Disney cruise, so no need to make reservations separately or pay additional fees! The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App will be up-to-date with the exact schedule of events and activities once you board the ship, so be sure to download it to your mobile device before you go, then just show up to your favorite activities!
If you are a first time cruiser with Disney, you'll be able to begin your
online check-in 75 days prior to sailing, (90 or more days prior for Castaway Club members who have sailed with Disney before). This is when you'll get to book special extras that may be available and require reservations or additional fees. Things like Adult Dining at Palo or Remy, Port Adventures, and Spa Treatments will be listed. Disney just started allowing guests to pre-reserve certain Meet and Greets with Disney characters, so view those when you log in too. I recommend you begin online check-in as soon as you're able, as some popular activities fill up quickly.
Have fun as you continue to plan your trip, and please stop back if you have more questions before you set sail! We are happy to help!
