My family and I will be sailing the Disney Fantasy 7 day Western Caribbean cruise in March. I wanted to know what Port experiences are worth the money for a 3 and 5 year old. Same for the onboard ticketed and non ticketed (shows) activities...

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel Heather!

How exciting that you have charted a course for fun and adventure on the Disney Fantasy.  My youngest was four when we took our first Disney Cruise Line vacation and I can tell you there is so much to offer this age group!

There are many character activities that are great for your young buccaneers.  If they are fans of Disney Junior, you can book the Disney Junior Character Breakfast offered on select sailings.  If your pirates-in-training enjoy visiting with some royalty, I would recommend the Princess Gathering and Frozen Meet and Greet.  When your advance booking window opens, review the available onboard activities for tickets to these events, typically on a day at sea.  All can be quite popular, so if you don't see tickets available online be sure to stop by the Guest Services desk when you arrive to check for any available tickets.

The live, Broadway caliber shows in the Walt Disney Theatre each night are great non-ticketed events.  There is a show each evening- check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator left in your stateroom each day for which performance will be shown and the times.  Our favorite on the Disney Fantasy is Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular.  When Genie comes out my kids squeal with joy!

One Port Adventure that we enjoyed when in Grand Cayman was the Nautilus Undersea Tour.  It is moderately priced and is a submarine type experience which is easy to navigate with young pirates in tow.  Be sure to check in with the Port Adventures desk onboard for additional suggestions or feel free to continue to ask our crew at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We are happy to help make a magical adventure for you and your family as you navigate and plan.

Bon voyage and happy sailing! Angie
