My family has rooms booked at POR for 9 adults and 2 children w/ seperate rooms and dining plans. My question is; if we are all dining together will we be charged the 18% gratuity? Even if it is seperate dining plans? Will it be charged to 1 room? Thank u

    Hi Sherri!
Congratulations on booking your upcoming family vacation to Walt Disney World!  Let me add a second congratulations for booking a dining plan.  It truly saves you at least 30 % off of standard dining prices within the resorts, and the variety of cuisines offered really does boggle the mind!
When dining with a party of six or more, regardless of how the bill is divided, you will be charged the automatic 18% gratuity.  If the bill is divided evenly, each party will be charged 18% on their portion of the bill.  Even if both parties have separate dining plans, you are all being seated and served at the same table with the same server, thereby equating it to a party of six or more.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
