    My family would like to ride the Water Taxi's to Downtown Disney. We are staying at A.K. Lodge. The plan is to arrive at the W. Side of Village Lake, tour downtown and take the E. end water taxi back. Where do we have to ride the bus to drop-off/pick-up?

    Hello Lisa,

    I have been researching and contemplating your question and think I have a better idea for you and your family to enjoy a water taxi expedition to Downtown Disney. 

    Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside and French Quarter all offer water taxi transportation to Downtown Disney. From Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge take a quick bus ride over to Disney's Blizzard Beach; from there transfer to one of the above Disney Resorts, once your arrive at the Resort ask a Cast Member to direct you to the boat launch to Downtown Disney and then enjoy your leisurely water expedition to Downtown Disney. If you are looking for a longer water taxi ride, I recommend Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside.

    Once you arrive at Downtown Disney, have fun exploring the many shops, restaurants and sites. After you are done, there are two bus stops Downtown Disney has to offer Guests.  One is located in the Marketplace area and the other is in the Pleasure Island area.  They are easily located on a map and signs are marked throughout Downtown Disney. At the bus stop, you will locate the bus for Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and head back to your Disney home.
