Hi! My family has reservations for a WDW Resort stay in November, but we hadn’t yet purchased tickets, as my husband serves in the Nat’l Guard and we planned to get tickets from Shades of Green. Will we still be able to get park tickets now? Thanks!

    Howdy Kate!

Welcome back.  So nice to see that you have returned to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask another great question about traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort.  First and foremost I would like to thank your family for their service to our Country.   What a blessing your family is to our nation.  It's my pleasure to help you out today.

Traveling with a Guest who qualifies for a Military Promotional Tickets is such a wonderful and well deserved perk.  I can see why you are anxious to take advantage of these ticket offers.  Currently Walt Disney World has paused all new ticket sales through later this year.   A new park reservation system will be in place and only Guests with existing tickets and Annual Passholders will be able to make reservations.   New ticket sales for reservations will come later in the year based on availability and this would include the Military personnel discount/ promotional tickets.  I do encourage you to check with your local military bases for any up to date information they may have as well.  Another great source of information is the Disney Parks Blog which provides the most up to date news about Disney Parks around the globe.

Kate, please keep checking the reopening information page on the Walt Disney World website as it will offer a treasure trove of knowledge relating to your trip in November.   I encourage you to download the My Disney Experience  Mobile App and link your Disney Resort hotel reservation to this system if you have not already.   Using the My Disney Experience App will allow you to use the Mobile Ordering Service for dining, and online check-in for your Disney Resort hotel.   Staying as contactless as we can in these unforeseen times is the best for all Guests and Cast Members health and safety.

I hope this has offered you some insight on your future vacation.  Please visit us again with any other questions you may have.   All the Disney Parks Moms Panelists are waiting to lend a helping hand.

    Dream as Dreamers Do,

    Jen
