My family has reservations next week 2/13-2/18 and there is a 60% chance of rain on thursday. We have park hopper passes so are able to jump around. Is there one park over another, that maybe has more indoor activities, that would work well to coordinate

    Hi Carrie!

In Florida there is usually an afternoon rain shower, especially in the summer, but don't worry the rain will not affect your ability to have fun at the most magical place on earth!

I have two favorite parks I like to visit when it's raining: Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom.

The reason I like Animal Kingdom in the rain is because animals are so much more active when it's raining outside. I love to go on the Kilimanjaro Safaris in the rain and watch the animals run around and play. You can also duck in the broadway shows, such as Festival of Lion King or Finding Nemo - The Musical. These shows last a good amount of time, so it will get you out of the rain for a while. While you are there, do not miss Tiffins, a new fine dining restaurant that has delicious pork tenderloin, vegetable curry and pan seared duck.

Magic Kingdom is also a great park for rainy days because there are so many attractions and things to do indoors. All of the attraction queues are either covered or indoors completely. Check out Mickey's Philharmagic, Country Bear Jamboree and Carousel of Progress. Dine at Crystal Palace or the new Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen

Make sure to pack ponchos and don't let a little rain ruin your day!

    Magically,
    Stacy
