Hello, my family and I have reservations for July 4th, we are planning our day but want to make sure the snacks and food we bring will be allowed in the Disney park. Are there any restrictions?

    Hi Selina,

Welcome to planDisney! My apologies that we were not able to get to your question sooner, but I hope you had a BLAST soaking up all of the magic and fun at Disneyland Resort on the 4th of July! Were you able to catch the official debut of the return of Mickey's Mix Magic? What an exciting day to be there!

I'm happy to let you know that yes, Guests are allowed to bring food and drinks into the theme parks. I'd encourage you to check out the official park rules for a few restrictions, like no alcoholic beverages, glass containers, or food that needs to be heated, but otherwise, feel free to pack snacks, drinks, or even a whole meal! If you have a cooler, please note that it needs to be 24" x 15" x 18" or smaller, and that loose ice is prohibited. While my family often brings some food with us, we always save room for our favorite Disney snacks and treats, too. There's just something about Mickey-shaped food that tastes so scrumptious!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, Selina, and please feel free to come see us any time you have a Disney-planning question. I hope you had a truly magical Disneyland Resort adventure and are already dreaming big Disney dreams for the future!
