I have a family of 5 (20,13,12), do you recommend staying at port Orleans riverside or art of animation? What resorts offer easier access to the different parks inside WDW?

Hey Jene!  Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another vacation planning question.  Like yourself I have a family of five so Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort are some of our favorite places to stay while at Walt Disney World.   I truly do love them both, but given that you are traveling with teenagers I would hands down recommend a Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

The greatest feature of a Family Suite in my opinion is the amount of space you will have. I think it may actually be bigger than my first apartment.  Inside of the Family Suite you will find 3 separate sleeping areas, a kitchenette, and 2 full bathrooms.  Me and my husband love this room because we can still have our own space  to relax inside of the master bedroom,  while the kids enjoy a movie in the living room. Transportation to the theme parks would be by bus.  Disney's Art of Animation Resort does have dedicated bus service so you would not be sharing with another Resort property.   I think your family will really enjoy at stay at this out of this world Disney Resort hotel.

I hope you have a terrific trip Jene!   Please let me know if you have any additional questions about Disney's Art of Animation Resort or any other aspect of your vacation.   I love to help fellow Disney-loving families have magical adventures.
