I spoke with a helpful Cast Member to clarify, and you are able to purchase your
Imagine Magic Key Pass exclusively for Southern California residents living in zip codes 90000 to 93599 prior to receiving your California ID. However, you will not be able to visit the theme parks until you can show a valid government-issued photo ID at the gates for admission. I would definitely try to secure your new photo ID's as soon as you can so you plan your next visit!
You'll also need to make a
theme park reservation for each day that you'd like to visit either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. The
Imagine Magic Key Calendar will be a helpful resource to determine availability, blockout dates, and planning for your visits.
