My family recently decided to add one more sit down dining to our list for our trip in 19 days. The problem is we want to eat at 50's Prime Time Cafe and they are booked. Are reservations required or do they save some tables for people that just walk up?

    Hi Heather,

We love the Prime Time Cafe. "Mom" sure makes a delicious pot roast and the desserts are scrumptious.

My understanding is that the restaurants do not hold any additional tables for walk up guests. If you have called the Cast Members at the Disney reservation line and was told the restaraunt is booked, then it is full at this time. Don't give up quite yet though! I would continue to call each day as sometimes there are cancellations. Check with your resort concierge when you arrive as they sometimes can help find an opening, and lastly, be sure to stop at check at the hostess stand at the Prime Time Cafe once you arrive at the park. There are occasions where a party cancels at the last minute, or does not show and there may be tables available.

    Good luck!
