If my family of 4 purchases 1 day/1 park tickets online, do we have to specify the day we use them in advance? Is there any drawback to waiting and buying at the gate (such as long lines)? We may base our decision on the weather outlook.

When purchasing Disney park tickets, you do not have to specify in advance which days you are going to use the tickets. Disney park tickets are valid until you first use them. Once they are used, you have up to 14 days to use your admission days until the tickets expire. You can visit the parks in any order you want. You do not have to visit the parks on consecutive days, as long as those days are with the 14-day use window.

The lines at the ticket windows are not usually long. You can also buy park tickets at the Disney hotels. The only possible drawback to purchasing your tickets at WDW is that you may be able to buy the tickets for slightly cheaper elsewhere. There are a few reputable Disney ticket sellers that offer discounts. Try checking the websites themouseforless.com and mousesavers.com for ideas.

Good luck and have a great vacation.
