Jambo Terry!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You have picked my absolute favorite Resort Hotel property to stay at during your magical trip!
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the perfect combination of being close to the magic and serenity. When we arrive at the Resort, one of the first things we notice is how peaceful it is, while the savanna is concurrently alive with animals. (I think it might have something to do with the
giraffes! They are so graceful and languid; their persona oozes over the property).
Speaking of fantastic views, though, let's talk about the difference between the views from your
2-Bedroom Deluxe Villa. The difference between "Value" and "Standard" View is in both scenery and size. Value accommodations are only at
Jambo House and are a bit smaller (square footage-wise) than "regular" Deluxe Villa accommodations. The majority of Value View Villas have a view of the landscaping or the parking lot, but there are a select few that have views of
the savanna. (Hopefully, Tinker Bell is out there sprinkling pixie dust on your reservation!). You also will not have the fold-out sleeper chair in a Value View Villa (so that you can sleep nine people), but that shouldn't be a problem with your party of eight.
Standard View Villas at Jambo House overlook the gorgeous pool, while at
Kidani Village, they look out on either landscaping or the pool. Regardless of the view, your
suite comes equipped with all the amenities of home. You will have a full kitchen (stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and more), a washer-dryer in unit, as well as a full coffee service! These amenities are some of the reasons why we love the
Disney Vacation Club Villas so much. We have the comforts of home combined with
zebras and
flamingos outside our window!
Terry, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back. We are all EARs!
