My family is planning on going to WDW (majic kingdom) in the second week of April. We are driving and staying at a hotel NOT on the resort. Once in the park is there anywhere a golf cart can be rented to reduce the amount of walking. Husbands hips are bad.

Hi, Catherine!  There aren't golf carts for rent inside the theme parks, but if you are looking for something just for your husband to get around, you'll find for rent at each theme park an Electronic Convenience Vehicle.  They are available for rent at the front of each of the four theme parks to use inside that theme park.

Scooter rental is $50 per day (with a refundable security deposit), and are limited in number, so it's better to rent them first thing in the morning, especially if you're planning a long day in the park.  The scooters must be returned at the same spot you rented them in order to have your deposit refunded.

There are several locations in the Orlando area that rent the scooters/ECVs.  You can do a Google search, as most of these off site locations will deliver to your resort and allow weekly rentals.  This may save you some money in the long run.  Just check if you are using a shuttle from your resort that they have access for guests riding the ECVs.

    Have a great vacation!
