My family is planning on going to WDW in June and staying at Wilderness Lodge. I've heard they have a photographer onsite. Will we need to make a reservation if we wish to do this and also what is the fee for services?

I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge about a month ago and had a nice chat with the cast members manning the photo desk there.

PhotoPass photographers are available at the Wilderness Lodge, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Saratoga Springs resorts, but guests staying anywhere can use the service. Reservations are strongly recommended. You can make them in advance by calling Disney PhotoPass at 407-934-4004.

Prices can change, but in January 2009 I learned that a private half-hour photo session is $150. For that, you get the photographer's time as well as a CD with all the photos taken. The CD is yours and you can manipulate, copy or print the photos on it as much as you want. If you have a private photo session, you can also buy the regular PhotoPass CD (the one you can get from using the general PhotoPass photographers in the parks) for an additional $50 fee. Normally the park CD costs approximately $125, so this is a great savings.

PhotoPass photographers can also work with you to document special events such as family reunions or other celebrations. Call the number above for more information.
