Hello, My family and I are planning on visiting Magic Kingdom in July during our daughters birthday. We are staying with family not at a resort and are wondering what we can do for her special day at the park. Thank you

Hi there, Helena! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for sending in your birthday question!

First of all, I'd like to wish a very happy birthday to your daughter! Celebrating at Walt Disney World Resort is so much fun and sure to make a memorable birthday for her! There are quite a few things you can do to make her day at Magic Kingdom extra special. First, be sure to stop by Guest Relations whenever you enter the park in order to receive a complimentary Celebration Button. Here, a Cast Member will write your daughter’s name on a special birthday button so everyone will know to wish her happy birthday during your family’s visit! You may also purchase a pair of Birthday Mickey Ears so she can wear another item to celebrate her special day.

Another great way to celebrate her birthday would be by ordering a speciality cake! You can actually order a cake prior to your visit and have it delivered to a participating restaurant on property. One of the most popular cakes is the Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake which comes in chocolate or white chocolate and can be customized with a unique message for your loved one. These tend to serve between four to six Guests. Custom-designed cakes are also available and can be made to fit your group’s tastes and style. You can order by calling (407) 827-2253 at least 72 hours before your dining reservation.

I hope these recommendations help you in planning your daughter’s birthday visit to Magic Kingdom!
