My family is planning to visit WDW the second week in November. Are all of the pools at the resorts heated? Also, is the WaterPark Fun ticket worth it for that time of year?

The pools at the WDW are heated year round. I have been at WDW even when the air temperatures were in the 40s and have still seen kids frolicking happily in the 80+ degree pools. (Most of the parents were huddled on the lounge chairs in parkas, but that's another story.)

As for the water parks, we always visit WDW in February, when the temperatures are significantly colder than November. (Average November high is 79. Average February high is 73.) We always manage to have a day or two of our trip that's warm enough for the water parks. And that's a good thing too, because as my kids have gotten older, the water parks are one of their favorite things at WDW.

If you're concerned about whether to purchase the water parks option, you could wait to add that feature until you got to WDW. If your travel week is cold and rainy, you could skip the water parks. But if you're traveling during a heat wave, just go up to one of the ticket windows at the theme parks (or the guest services desk at your WDW hotel) and they can add the water park option onto your existing ticket.
