Hi, my family and I are planning a visit the second week of September. I noticed that the hours for Blizzard Beach aren't listed. Will it be open that week or is it closed for refurbishment?

Hello there, Michael! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

There is nothing quite as fun as visiting a water park during the hotter months of the year! In September, you can definitively expect it to get more than a bit warm during your trip to Walt Disney World Resort. I think visiting one of the two water parks at Walt Disney World Resort is a great idea to help you and your family beat the heat!

Currently, it does seem as though there are no hours listed for Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park during the second week of September on the Park Hours webpage. Generally, this does mean that the specific park will not be operational during this period of time. However, both water parks are not generally closed at the same time so you and your family can still experience Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park during your visit! While the themes do differ between the two water parks, I cannot recommend both of them enough! Be sure to take time to experience the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool during your visit! This surf pool is actually the largest in North America and offers continuous waves throughout the day!

I hope this information assists you as you continue to plan for your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
