Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    My family and I are planning our vacation to celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday. We are looking into the Animal Kingdom Lodge (Savannah) view rooms. Do you think the kids will like it, and is it too far from the magic kingdom?

    Hi Flavia!  What a wonderful treat for your daughter to celebrate her 5th birthday.
    I will tell you yes the AKL is out a ways from the MK, but it is beautiful and it is really an incredible experience to be able to look at your window and see the animals of the wild in front of you.
    And although out a bit from MK, it's still a short bus ride to the park.  The distance of the ride to the park would definitely not keep me from staying at this beautiful resort.
