Hi there, William! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! With all of the fun fall decor,
spooky Halloween festivities, and the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival in full swing, October is one of my absolute favorite times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.
My family almost always purchases the
Disney Dining Plan, thanks to the fantastic savings and convenience that it provides. However, we also like to be flexible in our plans, and sometimes we are too caught up in the magic and excitement for a table service meal. William, I am happy to tell you the Disney Dining Plan does allow for this type of flexibility, and you may convert 1 table service entitlement into 1 quick service entitlement. Please note that this does not work in reverse, so you may not convert 2 quick service entitlements into 1 table service entitlement.
William, I mentioned the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, which is an absolute must-do each year for our family. Did you know that if you have remaining table service or quick service Disney Dining Plan entitlements, you may convert them into multiple snack credits? These credits can then be used at the festival booths, or at any other location where snack credits are accepted. Since individual locations may determine the quick service to snack credit conversion rate differently (the most common being 2 or 3 snack credits per quick service entitlement), I would ask the cashier at the point of sale to confirm the details of the conversion before the transaction. Snacking around the world at the festival booths is one of my family's absolute favorite uses of snack credits and often takes the place of either lunch or dinner!
I hope that you have a wonderful food-filled trip, William, and please come back over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can answer any questions to help make your vacation a little more magical. We hope to see ya real soon!
