Hello, My family and I are planning a trip to WDW. We are wondering if there are camper rentals at Fort Wilderness? Thanks!

Fort Wilderness has two types of accommodations: cabins and campsites.

The cabins are little houses in the woods. They sleep up to six guests and have a full kitchen. This is a great option for people who want a little more space than a typical hotel room or who love the wilderness atmosphere. Anyone is welcome to reserve the cabins by calling 407-W-DISNEY.

The campsites are for guests with campers or tents. Unfortunately, guests must have their own camper or camping gear; there are no rentals at WDW. If you want to stay at Fort Wilderness and don't have a camper or gear, then the cabins are your only real option.

In case you're interested in tent camping at FW, I ran across an informative article on the independent Passporter.com website called "Camping at Fort Wilderness." The article was written by site owners Jennifer and Dave Marx and gives great info on the pros and cons of tent camping with the Mouse.
