    My family is planning a trip to WDW September 30 - October 3. It seems that HS and AK both close at 7pm each day we will be there which means no nighttime shows. Is this typical? Why such an early closing time (especially with MK closing at 7pm too)?

    Hi Jeanne,

    Walt Disney World at this time of the year is one of my favorite times to visit! The weather is delightful and the crowds are lighter.

    While I am not sure why the parks are closing early at 7:00 pm, you still may experience the night time shows at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios. I have attended a show at 7:00 pm as it is all about the lighting for some. In addition, when the parks are slower, not all of the shows are in production.
