My family of 3 is planning a trip to WDW in mid March 2018. Every time we visit, I like to try a different resort. I am considering the Caribbean Beach Resort, but the construction concerns me. How intrusive is it? How will it effect our experience?

    Dear Tamara,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I love your plan of choosing different Walt Disney World Resort hotel options for each visit! Fun! I just had the privilege of staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort earlier this month and I can say that I wasn't bothered by the construction in the least. In fact, there are some nice perks that are going on during construction. First, Aruba, Jamaica, and Martinique villages have a small canteen set up, where you can purchase snacks, drinks, and small meal options. That was very handy for morning coffee and pastries, for example.

Additionally, there is a breakfast and dinner buffet at Centertown, for a very reasonable cost! I didn't hear any noise at all, and of course if you are ever disrupted, Walt Disney World Resort makes every effort to accommodate you comfortably. There is no construction noise from dusk through 9am each day. Just so you know, the arcade is closed during this time as well, in case that's important to your family.

I would recommend Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort wholeheartedly, even during construction.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
