My family is planning a trip to WDW at the end of December. We are planning to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge with a Savannah View. Are the animals still as active in this area during the colder months?

    Hi Elizabeth!

Yes!! You're still going to be seeing giraffe, wildebeest and all sorts of animals right outside your balcony. While December is one of the cooler months, its really not that cold in Florida - especially for fur covered animals! Throughout the day, the animal care takers also move the location of food around the savannas. This means that you'll see different animals as they forage around for their dinner.

Hope you have a fun trip!
