Hello, my family is planning a trip to vist Walt Disney World the second week of April of 2013, 2 adults and a 8 year old son. We are wondering what would be the best parks to visit with him and also resorts, he is very out going, social and love sports a

Hi, Lakeisha!  I can't imagine any of the parks wouldn't be an awesome place to discover for an eight year old.  I would definitely not miss the Magic Kingdom, because it is really the one place everyone thinks about when they think "Disney World".  If he likes exciting attractions and would be tall enough, Disney's Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios both have some thrill rides that might appeal to him.  My seven year old is just tall enough this year (48 inches) for most of them.

EPCOT is a hit or miss with some kids, but my girls love it.  There is a great interactive Agent P game he can play in the World Showcase, and there are some great - and educational - attractions there.

If you could only choose two of the four, I'd probably do the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.  If you can add one more, Animal Kingdom.

If he loves sports, you may want to look at the All Star Sports Resort.  You'll find yourself surrounded by life sized sports icons at this value resort, and the resort itself is great fun to walk around.  The rooms all have the sports theme, and it carries through to the lobby area as well.  If you're looking for something more deluxe, look into a savanna view room at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Not every little boy can wake up in the morning and see a giraffe outside his window!  It's the coolest experience!

Have a great time planning, and if you need anything else, come find me!
