Hi! My family and I are planning a trip for January 2-7. However we won't be going to Magic Kingdom until the 3rd. Will we still be able to see any Christmas decorations? Since I'm pretty sure all of the Christmas parades and shows will be gone by then.

    Hi Cristina,

Early January is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with lower crowds and cooler weather. Yes, you will miss the parades and shows but the holiday decorations will still be there. Luckily, Disney likes to stretch out the season a bit past the New Year and typically you can see a good portion of holiday finery until just past Marathon Weekend which is January 6-10, 2016.

Happy New Year and hope you have a magical vacation!

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
