    Hello, my family and I are planning a trip to DL this August. Our daughter is 2 so I know she's limited to certain rides. I was wondering if there are any rides that are expected to be closed for refurbishment or maintenance for that month? Kirsten

    Hi Kirsten!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My husband was so surprised on our last visit to realize our little one could enjoy many more of the attractions than he thought was possible! He was even able to experience his first "roller coaster" with Gadget's Go Coaster for which my two year old met the 35" height requirement!

    For the full list of refurbishments for your visit, you'll want to check back approximately 6 weeks prior to your arrival. You'll find refurbishments listed by visiting the Disneyland Resort Calendar and clicking on the Park Hours tab. For the month of August, there are two attractions that historically are closed as they receive holiday themed overlays. One of these is Haunted Mansion, which usually closes sometime in August and reopens in September as it receives the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay. The other attraction will be Space Mountain which will close and reopen around the same time for a spooktacular transformation.
