    My family and I are planning a trip to Disney World September 16-22, 2012....can you tell me if the parks will be decorated for Fall and/or Halloween yet? Also, any word on which attractions in the new Fantasyland will be open then?

    Hi Nikki,

    While the exact dates of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party have not yet been announced, it is very likely that they will start during the second week of September. If that is the case (and I'm expecting it will be), then yes, the Magic Kingdom will be decorated for Halloween during your visit.

    One tiny part of the new-and-improved Fantasyland is opening next week: the Storybook Circus which features an updated Dumbo ride and the Great Goofini. Beyond that, we've heard no word on opening dates of other attractions.

    I'll keep my fingers crossed that more of the Fantasyland update is open by the time of your visti.
