Hi there! My family and I are planning a trip in August! We will be staying on property. My question is if we have park tickets for Monday, the day we check in, will we have access to the early park entry perks even if we aren’t technically checked in yet?

Hey there, hi there, Amanda! Thanks so much for visiting us with your question.

First, did you know you can check-in for your Walt Disney World vacation now? Using your My Disney Experience, you can do an online check-in way before your arrival at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Once you've made your resort reservation, you'll see an option when you can start check-in. Easy peasy. You won't even need to go to the front desk - when your resort room is ready, you will receive a text or an email giving you your room number, and then you can use your MagicBand or your cell phone to access your room.

As a resort guest, you will be able to take advantage of your resort perks, and that does include Early Theme Park Entry, on the day you arrive. I love having those extra 30 minutes to get to my favorite attraction or even beat the lines at Starbucks.

Don't forget, Amanda, you will need to make a theme park reservation as soon as you have your tickets. You will need that to get into the parks for those bonus times.

Wishing you a magical, happy moment filled vacation!
