Hello, Alyssa! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm sure you're counting down the days until your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and I'm so happy to tell you that all Walt Disney World Resort hotels offer poolside activities and games for the kids! At
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you'll find a separate pool in each "village," but you'll want to check out the
Fuentes del Morro Pool for the best selection of activities for your little ones. If they're under 48" tall, they'll also be able to frolic and play in the Fuentes del Morro Water Play Area, too.
When we were there, the activity leaders had kids doing everything from hula hooping to dancing and trying to keep a beach ball aloft. Meanwhile, mom and dad can relax in one of the lounge chairs or enjoy a spot in the 12-person spa pool. Even in January, the pools are heated to a comfortable 82 degrees, too!
In addition to these activities, you might find Arts & Crafts (available for an additional charge), as well as Trivia Challenges, Relay Races and Party Games. Children 4-12 years old can also enjoy a
morning cruise on the Ports of the Caribbean waters, while Buccaneers 10 to 16 can embark on an evening adventure cruise on Barefoot Bay. These cruises are offered for an additional charge, and reservations can be made by calling 407-939-7529. Complimentary Movies Under the Stars are offered nightly on the lawn on Caribbean Cay Island as well. Check the Recreation Activities board next to the Fuentes del Morro pool or ask the concierge for a list of activities available during your visit.
I hope you have a swashbuckling good time!
Amy
