    Hi! Our family is planning a 7 night eastern caribbean cruise in January 2013. I have read other questions about the ship not being able to dock at Castaway Cay due to rough seas, and I wanted know where the ship goes instead? Thank you!

    Hi Mandy!

    Welcome to the Moms Panel!  This year is flying by and before you know it, it will be your turn to sail away to the gorgeous Eastern Caribbean!  I know you are looking forward to cruising on the newest beauty in the Disney fleet and experiencing everything Disney Cruise Line has to offer on the high seas!  Castaway Cay will be your last stop on your thrilling voyage, and my fingers are crossed you don't experience rough seas.  If the weather does not cooperate, the captain will make the decision to spend the day at sea.  I know this will be a disappointment, but Disney Cruise Line's first concern is the safety of its Guests.  If your last day is spent as a sea day, Disney Cruise Line will make sure it is filled with many magical moments.  The Cruise Staff will do their best to ensure family-friendly fun, awesome adult-only offerings, and plenty of youth activities.  I always say that a Disney Cruise ship is a destination in itself and spending extra time aboard allows more time for wonderful memories to be made!
