Hiya Quincy! Thank you for stopping by on the planDisney website! I am so excited that you want to begin planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort for you and your family. Taking your children at that age is such a wonderful, magical time. My daughter was around your child's age for one of the trips we have taken, and it is such a delight seeing that magic sparkle in their eyes!
Quincy, what I love about the
Disney Resorts Collection is that no two resorts are the same and that there is a resort for literally any budget! The Disney Resorts have three different tiers for budget, and they include Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. My family and I have stayed at resorts from all three tiers, so I will tell you about the ones I recommend!
Disney's Pop Century Resort offers nostalgic theming, beautifully renovated rooms, and close access to Disney's EPCOT and Hollywood Studios Parks via the Disney Skyliner! If you're looking to let the good times roll on a moderate budget,
Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter is just for you! What I love the most about this resort is that it is the smallest of the moderates, and the theming is absolutely gorgeous! At the end of the day, it's quiet and not so stimulating, especially for little ones! If you prefer staying as close to the theme parks as you can, I recommend my "home away from home"
Disney's Wilderness Lodge! My husband and I cannot get enough of the stunning mountain lodge feel of the lobby, the gorgeous stone fireplace (which is so cozy to sit by at the end of a long park day), and the stunning Fire Rock Geyser, modeled after Old Faithful at Yellowstone National Park. If you feel like splurging, I highly recommend upgrading to a Club Level Room. The Old Faithful Club at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is one of our favorites. The concierge staff is incredible, they truly make you feel like you're at home. Plus, you will have a wonderful view of the Electrical Water Pageant, as well as the fireworks at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park!
Whatever you decide Quincy, I just know you and your family will have the most magical vacation ever! When you are ready to book, call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations desk at (407) 939-1936. At this time, dining plans, unfortunately, have not returned, but keep checking every day, you never know when they will return! As of now, you can book advanced dining reservations 60 days ahead of your scheduled arrival date. Happy planning!
